This traditional variety that we produced is distinct for its impenetrable, dark red color, which marries with the pleasantly fruity bouquet and taste of black raspberries and dried plums. Its aftertaste is ruled by velvety tannins and cinnamon. Its foundation lies in healthy grapes and their careful vinification.
To produce this Blaufränkisch, we had at our disposal ripe and 100% healthy grapes. We tried to proceed very sensitively to preserve the robust fruitiness and terroir. Our aim was to craft a full-bodied, fruity Blaufränkisch, which will be suited to immediate consumption and archiving alike. I think we succeeded in this endeavor. I believe lovers of Moravian red wines will truly appreciate this wine.
